Reading Homework -

As fluent readers, students need nightly practice reading -- that 20 minutes either on their own reading then a chance to share with an adult what was read OR 20 minutes reading to or with an adult to share in the experience and joy of reading. Those minutes become part of the regular reading practice each night for EVERY student at Evergreen. Check with your students teacher about how to record those minutes as it is reflected in the comments on the reports card K-5.
